We are very excited about the new Gestuz Spring 2011 collection here at Macleod Agencies! The designer samples recently arrived at the showroom and we are now geared up for selling season. The collection offers something fresh and different with a wonderful eclectic mix of beautiful pieces. We are delighted to be representing such a successful new designer having recently been nominated for the Best Danish Brand Award at the Danish Fashion Awards.  

‘Passion’ and ‘Power’ are two words that are frequently used to describe Gestuz. The designer brand typically displays bold rock chic dresses expressing an edgy side as well as sleek and feminine pieces that counterbalance and highlight the softer side of the collection. 

The Gestuz Spring 2011 collection is no different. It is inspired by the North African hippie culture of the 1960s and the sophisticated Parisian style of the 1970s. The design team took inspiration for their prints from the North African wildlife of the Savanna to create tie-dye and animal printed dresses. The collection maintains its signature Gestuz fabrics in leather, silk and light cotton. The strong leather boho rock style is combined with Parisian flirtatiousness in long silk dresses to add luxurious femininity to the collection. 

Gestuz achieves the optimum balance of quality and price, which surely contributes to its popularity. There are four main collections per year as well as two express collections on offer to customers. Current stockists of Gestuz include BT2, Asos and Flannels.
